At the 9/8/26 Independence City Council Meeting, Councilman Stewart inquires of the City Manager regarding the plans for the recently shuttered Adventure Oasis Waterpark.
City Manager Troy Anderson provides an update that the process is underway to demolish the site, returning it back to undeveloped land.
The potential to auction off some of the assets on-site was mentioned, with a request for demolition going out later this fall. Setting the possible demolition by the end of this year.
